Position Summary: This is a 12-month training opportunity at our main office & operations warehouse near Charleston, SC that gives candidates the opportunity to explore a Sales role in the medical device industry. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate interested in medical device sales. This particular opportunity is for our Joint Replacement division.

Scope of Role Responsibilities:

• The essential functions are to include but are not limited to supporting the sales field teams, warehouse operations, sales leaders and others in assigned areas.

• Implement and support quality initiatives throughout the organization.

• Receive and check in inventory from hospitals and suppliers.

• Inspect incoming products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages.

• Prepare instruments and implants for surgery cases.

• Gain an understanding of medical terms, implants, instruments and trays for surgery cases.

• The training program that will include, but is not limited to, weekly calls, assignments, lab observations and hands on demos with the local Sales Reps.

• Participate in rotating on-call weekend schedule as required and per company policy.

• Perform or assist with other duties and projects as needed.


The Jr. Sales Associate development training program is a 12-month minimum commitment. We will review your performance and training after 6 months and then again at 12 months with an ultimate goal of you transitioning to a field-based sales role within the company.


Critical Experience & Skills:

• Undergraduate Degree in Health Sciences, Biology, Biomedical, Business, or other related field.

• Intermediate level with Microsoft Office suite. (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills are essential to success in this position

• Able to work varying hours as necessary.


Physical Demands:

• Moderate to heavy physical activity. Repetitive daily lifting of at least 50 pounds.

• Standing, sitting or moving for extended amounts of time within the warehouse.
