A growing automotive company is seeking a reliable, professional, and automotive-minded individual to travel to customer locations and inspect vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations throughout Metro Detroit and other areas of Michigan as needed
• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical, cosmetic, and body-related issues
• Take clear photos and videos
• Test-drive vehicles
• Professionally discuss vehicle condition and negotiate price adjustments when needed
• Communicate inspection results promptly and clearly to the internal team

Requirements

• Must have a reliable personal vehicle
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
• Clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Willingness to travel throughout Metro Detroit and beyond
• Strong knowledge of used vehicles and common mechanical or cosmetic issues
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Professional and presentable appearance
• Comfortable meeting and communicating with customers
• Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently
• Smartphone capable of taking clear photos and videos with a reliable cellular connection

Automotive buying, dealership, appraisal, auction, mechanic, or body shop experience is strongly preferred.
