Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Night CNA to join our patient care team. The ideal candidate is a Certified Nursing Assistant with a passion for providing high-quality, personalized care.

This role is focused on the specialized care of a quadriplegic patient, providing companionship and essential support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and compassionate patient care, including assisting with bathing, showering, and perineal care.

• Assist with the safe transport and transfer of the patient.

• Provide companionship and engage in light, positive interaction with the patient.

• Perform light housekeeping duties and laundry to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient care records.

• Communicate effectively with fellow caregivers and nursing staff to ensure a seamless care plan.

• Assist with the self-administration of prescribed medications under the direction of nursing staff and in accordance with state guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Required:

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Florida.

  • Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields, with a strong preference for experience with quadriplegic or spinal cord injury care.

  • Ability to build strong rapport and trust with patients.

  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient demeanor.

  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team.

• Preferred:

  • Experience with Hoyer Lifts or other patient transfer equipment.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology.

  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Work Conditions:

• Schedule: Part-time, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
