Job description

Panel Shop Technician

Who we are:

With the capabilities of a large enterprise, and the agility and responsiveness of a small company, we are a customer-focused provider of automation and integrated solutions. Crimson Group provides total integration of design, project management, panel manufacturing, installation/commissioning, maintenance, and repair for North America and select international markets.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Interpreting wiring schematics and panel drawings.
  • Wiring PLCs and other electrical components to terminal blocks.
  • Designing and laying out panels.
  • Working to UL508A and NEC standards.
  • Receiving, unpacking, and organizing shipments.
  • Arranging and labeling inventory.
  • Assisting with housekeeping duties to maintain shop safety.


Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical knowledge or experience would be preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Hard worker with a desire to learn.
  • Willingness to work under supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt as job scopes change.
  • Willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities as required.
  • Ability to see color (This is to identify the color of wires being installed in their correct places)
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.


Working Conditions:

  • This position is based in our Midland shop.
  • Monday-Friday schedule with 8-hour days and potential overtime.
