We are seeking a skilled Asphalt / Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. This role is essential in creating high-quality surfaces for roads, sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and other infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with concrete or asphalt finishing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in outdoor environments.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret project plans and specifications independently to perform concrete and asphalt work with precision.
  • Form, pour, place, and finish concrete to grade, delivering a fine finish on all types of concrete work.
  • Assist with asphalt placement, raking, luting, and compaction as needed.
  • Operate and maintain finishing tools and equipment, including floats, trowels, screeds, templates, shovels, motorized tamps, push brooms, and straight edges up to fifteen feet long.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Demonstrated experience reading plans and independently forming, pouring, and finishing concrete.
  • Experience in asphalt paving or general construction is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and tools.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
