Crenshaw Janitorial is seeking a Floor Tech to help maintain clean, polished, and professional-looking facilities in Hopewell, VA.

Position Summary

As a Floor Tech, you will perform routine and specialized floor care tasks to keep surfaces looking their best. You’ll use appropriate methods and equipment to clean, finish, and maintain floors while supporting a consistently high standard of cleanliness.

This role is full-time and onsite in Hopewell, VA, and it offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the appearance and hygiene of client spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floors using appropriate techniques to remove dirt, stains, and debris.

• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.

• Perform floor finishing activities as needed, following established procedures and product directions.

• Inspect work areas to ensure floors meet quality standards and are free of defects or residue.

• Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and correct use of personal protective equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work onsite full-time in Hopewell, VA.

• Ability to perform physical tasks that may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting as needed.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks to a consistent standard.

• Basic understanding of safe cleaning practices and willingness to follow procedures.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in janitorial services or floor care/maintenance.

• Familiarity with buffing, stripping, waxing, or other common floor care processes.

• Experience working in commercial facilities with customer-focused standards.

• Knowledge of chemical safety practices and proper dilution/usage procedures.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $15.00 - $20.00
