Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and individual needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with assessment findings and client-specific goals.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Document and monitor clients' therapeutic progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on real-time feedback and changing client needs.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care and superior client outcomes.
• Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring they have access to appropriate mental health services and community resources.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards established by state licensing boards and professional organizations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as a LMFT in the state of New York.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders.
• Proficient understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate with medical professionals effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, specifically addressing mood disorders.
• Proven skills in delivering successful outcomes in therapeutic settings that involve mood-related conditions.
• Experience using teletherapy platforms to deliver remote counseling services effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, adjusted based on caseload and experience.
