We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items during service according to recipes and plating standards
- Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary ingredients and supplies
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked during and after shifts
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely service
- Help with inventory and notify management of low supplies
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
Schedule
- Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
