CY Boston - 40 - Rooms, the Executive Housekeeper works in a fast-paced environment, overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel.
About the opportunity
The Executive Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction are met, working closely with the housekeeping team to achieve exceptional results.
What you'll get to do
* Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory control
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
* Train and develop the housekeeping team to improve performance and efficiency
* Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and resolve any issues promptly
* Analyze and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and increase productivity
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality
* Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, maintenance, and food and beverage
* Familiarity with hotel management systems and software, including inventory control and scheduling
* High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
