Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and conditions, utilizing precise physical therapy methodologies.
• Design and implement effective treatment programs focused on rehabilitation for injuries, chronic pain, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and positive clinical outcomes.
• Educate and support patients and their families by providing clear instructions and resources to facilitate recovery efforts.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment, employing evidence-based practices to adjust care plans as necessary.
• Meet and exceed minimum utilization goals while contributing to overall clinic operational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will engage diverse patient populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine patients. The physical therapist will develop customized therapy plans to meet unique patient needs while fostering an environment of trust and collaboration. You will build lasting relationships that facilitate thorough understanding of each patient's journey toward optimal health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in using electronic health records and other documentation tools.
• Ability to establish strong connections with patients, empowering them to achieve their functional recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing home care physical therapy is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies and the latest therapeutic technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
