Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing andoptimizingproduction processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety within our manufacturing plant. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of production operations, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Monitor production processes to ensure they are running smoothly, efficiently, andin accordance withestablished quality standards and production schedules.

  • Process Optimization:Identifyareas for process improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to develop and implement process enhancements.

  • Quality Assurance:Maintaina keen eye for quality control, ensuring that products meet or exceed quality standards at all stages of production. Implement and enforce quality assurance protocols to minimize defects and deviations.

  • Resource Management: Effectivelyallocateresources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to achieve production targets. Coordinate with procurement andlogisticsto ensuretimelyavailability of necessary inputs.

  • Safety Compliance: Uphold a strong commitment to workplace safety. Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a safety-conscious culture among the production team.

  • Reporting and Documentation:Maintainaccurateand up-to-date production records, including production output, downtime, maintenance logs, and any incidents. Generate relevant reports for management review.

  • Training and Development:Identifytraining needs within the production team andfacilitatetraining programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Mentor and develop team members to promote career growth.

  • Continuous Improvement: Activelyparticipatein continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Contribute ideas and lead implementation efforts to streamline processes and reduce waste.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
