Job description
PAS Engineer
Emerson Process Management is the world leader in the process control industry. The PAS Engineer provides aftermarket solution capabilities for DeltaV Distributed Control System product lines and has IT / OT product and service knowledge. Total Solutions will include activities such as on-site hardware/software support, system preventative maintenance, network communications troubleshooting, system configuration, and installation checkout/certification.
Principal duties and responsibilities include:
- On-site hardware and software support
- System preventative maintenance
- Network communications troubleshooting
- System configuration
- HyperV host support
- Remote user support
- Installation checkout/certification
- Training

Knowledge and skills required:
- Minimum associates degree in IT/OT, process instrumentation/controls or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2-5 years total experience in IT/OT, industrial maintenance, and/or process control functions
- Emerson Process Management products and services knowledge with emphasis in DCS Systems is beneficial but not required
- Essential performance skills are decision making and problem solving, commitment to task, coping, spoken communications, goal setting, organization & planning, team building
Travel requirements: <10%. Position is static at customer site as full-time staff augmentation, but occasional travel may be required.
