33Assistant Facilities Manager

Job Summary

We are a small lakefront marina seeking a seasonal Assistant Facilities Manager with full Janitorial, Maintenance and Grounds experience and some trades skills and abilities. Qualified candidates need 3 years of experience specific to maintaining a property.  The compensation is based on skills and experience and the range is $33K to $37K (Annual). There is an annual bonus.

The location is just east of downtown Cleveland. The schedule is 40 hours per week during spring and summer – 16 hours for fall and winter. You must have knowledge and experience of a range of tools, machinery and equipment as well as general housekeeping. Tow motor/tractor experience is helpful, not required.  This position is self-directed.

Janitorial

• Maintain cleanliness of small community facility including a small kitchen, bathrooms and common areas on a rotating schedule.

Maintenance

• Upkeep and scheduling service for a range of equipment and tools - air compressor, hot water heaters, lawn mowers - there is a small shop and garage on the premises.

Grounds

• Summer lawn maintenance. Mowing & Trimming.  About 4 – 5 hours per week.

Management

• Monitoring supplies, scheduling and ordering services, supplies and deliveries.

• This is a fast-track hire - the retiring Manager will be available for training.
