Continuum is a Managed Service TV advertising platform - making the buying and execution of linear TV advertising easier, faster, and more effective. 

Our proprietary platform is the industry’s only true linear TV exchange and it connects directly into cable, broadcast, and streaming inventory, allowing us to plan, activate, and optimize campaigns end-to-end within a single system for agencies and advertisers. 

We replace the manual, RFP-based buying process with an exchange model that predicts the availability and price of linear inventory – powered by automation, data, and expert media stewardship. The result: more effective reach, faster execution, and a unified view of campaign performance.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 – $160,000, plus commission and a comprehensive benefits package — with premiums fully covered by the company. Compensation is determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay further shaped by relevant skills, experience, and education or training.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Responsible for growing Continuum’s advertising business across all video solutions, inclusive of linear cable, broadcast as well as CTV, VOD and OTT.  The ideal candidate identifies the client’s advertising needs, presents proposed campaigns, and negotiates terms, conditions, and pricing. 

The specific responsibilities include:

• Sell short-form video advertising solutions to new and existing clients and agencies from a range of industries and business sizes. Digital video sales experience is a plus.
• Establish and cultivate consultative relationships with clients via frequent contact, developing in-depth knowledge of their business, industry, and key competitors; regularly update needs analysis; monitors campaign effectiveness; resolves problems, and makes changes as required. 
• Identify prospective clients utilizing a number of licensed sources we have available.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations designed to meet individual client needs by reviewing audience data and other research, and consulting with internal resources as needed.
• Keep client database up to date by recording all activities, transactions, and communications with clients.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Requirements:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• College degree.
• Ability to call on strategic relationships at a variety of top ad agencies and clients within the assigned markets. 
• Demonstrated ability to grow business for an organization within emerging markets or regions across the country
• Minimum of five to seven years selling across a multitude of video solutions and platforms with the ability to demonstrate key relationships developed over candidate’s tenure
• A strong list of already established relationships in the Media/Agency and Client Community in Chicago and surrounding areas. Have the ability to get relevant meetings on day one. 
• New business success stories and strategies must be submitted
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
