Our team is committed to serving those from ethnic and cultural minority backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals and immigrant populations. We believe in fostering an inclusive practice where everyone feels valued and cared for.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your professional practice while working with patients via telehealth. This format not only enables therapists to reach clients who may face barriers to accessing in-person services but also supports a healthier work-life balance. Therapists typically will maintain a schedule of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, culturally-sensitive mental health assessments to gain an understanding of each patient’s unique experiences, creating tailored treatment strategies.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques during sessions, ensuring interventions are culturally appropriate and effective.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at tackling various mental health issues while promoting resilience among patients.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to guarantee a cohesive treatment plan for every patient.
  • Offer immediate support and crisis intervention for patients facing mental health emergencies, utilizing strong crisis management skills.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and resources that can aid in their recovery.
  • Ensure all patient records are accurately maintained and in compliance with legal and ethical standards to protect confidentiality and trust.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and cultural competency training sessions to further personal and team growth.
  • Continuously stay informed about mental health best practices and emerging research to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve at Constant Support Psychotherapy Services come from a wide range of backgrounds, including ethnic and cultural minorities, the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals from immigrant populations. This diversity enriches our practice and highlights the need for culturally competent care, as clients may have unique needs and experiences that require thoughtful understanding and responsiveness from therapists.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
  • A solid grasp of various mental health disorders and treatment methodologies, along with demonstrated cultural competence in therapy.
  • Experience in providing individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally responsive approaches that resonate with diverse patient experiences.
  • Exemplary crisis intervention skills, particularly the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to ensure efficient practice management.
  • Dedication to upholding professional ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • A collaborative spirit, ready to engage as an integral member of a multidisciplinary therapeutic team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a multicultural outpatient setting, especially within telehealth platforms.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through seminars, workshops, and training related to cultural competency.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic tools and methodologies that facilitate culturally informed treatment.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 100,000, reflective of your experience and strengths brought to the team. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, a retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions, and generous paid time off (PTO) including holiday pay.
