As a key member of our psychotherapy group practice, you will contribute to improving the mental well-being of individuals, couples, and families.

About the Organization

Conscious Core Counseling Center is a progressive mental health organization located in Miami, Florida, with a focus on delivering high-quality psychotherapy services through both telehealth and in-person consultations. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, collaborative environment where therapists can thrive professionally while prioritizing their work-life balance. By handling administrative tasks effectively, we empower our clinicians to concentrate on client care, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and support they need.

Work Environment

Our fully remote setup allows therapists the flexibility to determine their caseloads, typically ranging from 10 to 30 billable hours per week. We maintain an open line of communication and provide opportunities for collaboration, including remote group consultations and the possibility of in-person meetings when beneficial. Furthermore, all client interactions are conducted through secure telehealth platforms, ensuring both convenience and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans that meet the unique needs of clients across different demographics.
  • Provide one-on-one psychotherapy sessions, family therapy, and group interventions, utilizing varied therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with licensed psychologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and follow through on treatment plans that may involve psychiatry referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes and treatment outcomes, in compliance with electronic health records systems.
  • Engage in regular clinical team meetings to discuss case management strategies, share insights on best practices, and participate in continual professional development workshops.
  • Facilitate workshops or support groups aimed at addressing common mental health issues within the community.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and incorporate evidence-based practices into therapeutic interventions to enhance client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse population, addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and dual diagnoses. Our clientele includes children, adolescents, adults, and families, necessitating a flexible approach tailored to varied cultural backgrounds and personal experiences. Your contributions will directly influence clients' journeys towards mental health recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active LMFT license or doctorate in psychology (Psy.D) to practice in the state of Florida.
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing psychotherapy services, particularly in an outpatient or telehealth capacity.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of culturally competent therapeutic practices.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention methodologies and strategies for addiction counseling.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include a SIGN-ON BONUS, opportunities for ongoing training and professional development, health and wellness benefits, and a supportive work environment that values your contributions to client care.
