Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients, using evidence-based practices to facilitate healing and personal growth.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders by formulating comprehensive multifaceted treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to inform treatment strategies, adapting techniques that resonate with clients’ unique experiences and backgrounds.
  • Implement supportive interventions during crises, including bereavement counseling and other social work methodologies to assist clients in navigating challenging times.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, prioritizing the wellbeing of both staff and clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Conquer Psychotherapy Center, you will serve a diverse array of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Our commitment to cultural competence ensures that each team member acknowledges and respects the unique narratives of our patients, customizing approaches as needed. Your contributions will directly enhance their resilience and quality of life by providing empathetic and targeted support.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a counseling environment, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques and client engagement.
  • A valid license to practice in Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC, or an equivalent credential.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a keen ability to apply problem-solving techniques to varied client situations.
  • Strong organizational skills for meticulous data collection, documentation, and adherence to compliance standards.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a community health clinic or similar setting that emphasizes comprehensive mental health care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation and communication.
  • Advanced training in specialized therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
Compensation and Benefits
