Your Responsibilities
- Manage international buying activities and maintain strong partnerships with global suppliers to ensure supply continuity and operational excellence
- Coordinate material pricing with Product Managers and suppliers, ensuring accurate and competitive cost structures
- Create, review, and manage international purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of product specifications, pricing, terms, and labelling requirements
- Monitor order fulfilment, production schedules, and shipment status, proactively communicating updates and potential risks
- Work with sales to ensure accurate product costing is available and communicated
- Maintain visibility of supplier production calendars, including holidays, planned shutdowns, and maintenance periods
- Collaborate closely with Logistics, Customer Service, and Materials Management to ensure efficient cargo movement and on-time delivery performance
- Support international Logistics operations by processing freight and shipping documentation within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC)
- Identify and proactively mitigate supply chain risks, inventory shortages, and potential disruptions to business operations
- Prepare, analyze, and communicate reports and key performance metrics to support supply chain visibility and decision-making
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings, contributing to operational planning, alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide support for domestic purchasing activities, transportation coordination, and broader supply chain execution as required
Your Profile
- Completed degree (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- A minimum of three years of experience in the chemical industry
- A minimum of three years of experience in the chemical industry
- Ideally, experience in international purchasing or supply chain operations
- Good understanding of international trade practices and Incoterms
- Strong organizational skills with a structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively across team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and support informed decision-making
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC))
