Job description

Behavior Therapist (BT) Benefits: Competitive pay starting at $25-$30 per hour. About the Company:

Join a team devoted to delivering high-quality applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a respected provider in behavioral health, our mission is to create positive changes, promote skill development, and improve the quality of life for the individuals we serve. By becoming a Behavior Technician with us, you’ll receive thorough training and ongoing support while making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Behavior Therapist (BT) Position Summary:

We are currently hiring dedicated and compassionate individuals to work as Behavior Technicians. You will work alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement customized intervention plans and teach essential life skills in settings such as homes, schools, and community environments. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll deliver evidence-based interventions, track progress, and assist clients in reaching their goals.

Behavior Therapist (BT) Key Duties:

            •           Carry out individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to meet each client’s specific needs.

            •           Provide one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques like discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching, and behavior management.

            •           Accurately collect and log data on client behavior and progress using specified methods.

            •           Help clients build functional skills in areas such as communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.

            •           Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages learning, engagement, and independence.

            •           Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention strategies.

            •           Communicate regularly with clients, caregivers, and team members, sharing progress updates and important information.

            •           Participate in ongoing professional development to improve your ABA skills and knowledge.

Behavior Therapist (BT) Requirements:

            •           Ability to follow detailed instructions, implement behavior plans effectively, and collect data accurately.

            •           Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to homes, schools, or community settings.

            •           Strong commitment to ethical standards, client confidentiality, and promoting an inclusive, positive environment.

            •           Patience, compassion, and dedication to helping individuals achieve their goals.

Perks:

            •           We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to join our inclusive and diverse team.
