POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the HOUSEKEEPER is to perform daily inspections, addressing deficiencies in assigned cleaning areas, follow-up and assist restoration or reconstruction technicians with daily tasks as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by manager/supervisor
· Ensure that all dirt, dust, litter, and debris is removed from all areas of the assigned area using brooms, mops, brushes, and other hand tools.
· Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the facility and stairwells as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels
· Empty all trashcans in the job site and the office.
· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
· Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
· Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
· Make beds and change linens.
· Wash windows, walls, and glass.
· Empty and clean trash containers.
· Clean kitchen areas, including appliances, counters, and sinks.
· Prep, set containment and plastic cover before demo.
· Wash, dry, and fold laundry as needed.
· Organize and store clean laundry appropriately.
· Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies.
· Working hours are from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, 8 AM - 4 PM, with occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
· Report any unknown, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Safety Manager in a timely manner.
· Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive and remain complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts.
· Must wear PPE as tasks dictate.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. (1) year in construction or restoration/remediation work and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
