Confidence Management Systems (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Cooks for our long term care nursing facility in Syracuse, NY. Apply today!  Walk-ins Welcome! Central Park Nursing Home 116 Martin Luther King Blvd., East Syracuse, NY 13205.

Cook Healthcare Key Duties
  • Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Cook Healthcare Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation in Nursing Home, Hospital, or Healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
  • Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
