Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Multifamily Construction Project Manager to oversee various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective project coordination, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and within the established timelines.

****PLEASE NOTE- this is NOT new construction. We are general contracting company that does large cap-ex projects on apartment communities, miscellaneous projects for commercial spaces, and interior renovations.****

Job Description

• Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with contracts and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project schedules and schematics.
• Utilize construction management software BuilderTrend for project tracking and reporting.
• Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address any issues, and ensure safety standards are met.
• Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
• Prepare detailed reports and project updates on project status, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained prior to the commencement of work.
• Analyze specifications, blueprints (as needed) and project requirements to determine labor, material, and time costs.
• Solicit and compare quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Track actual costs and compare them to estimates to improve accuracy over time.
• Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, generating repeat and referral business.
• Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management or a related field is required.
• Experience with Multifamily construction is REQUIRED
• Proficiency in construction management software (BuilderTrend) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and contract management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and regulations is essential.
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
