Marketing Coordinator

Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 20–30 hours per week
Duration: 5 Months

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will support the Category Management team in executing digital activations and marketplace initiatives. This role will help ensure that events and activations launch on time, accurately, and with the quality and attention to detail needed to support marketplace growth.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines while collaborating with internal teams and external brand partners.

Core Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare event materials and templates that support activation planning across the Category Management team.
  • Maintain accurate activation details across internal planning and tracking systems.
  • Track updates throughout the event lifecycle and ensure changes are communicated and reflected with cross-functional partners.
  • Support timeline management by monitoring milestones and following up with internal teams and brand partners.
  • Conduct onsite quality reviews during activations and document findings.
  • Organize post-event documentation, learnings, and materials to support event recaps.
  • Manage administrative tasks required to support the ongoing growth of the company's digital marketplace.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure activation requirements and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist with additional marketing and project coordination activities as assigned.
Requirements for Consideration
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • 0–2 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, marketing, or a related field; internship experience is welcome.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard for data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project management tools is a plus.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for working with internal partners and external brand contacts.
  • Comfortable learning new systems, tools, and processes quickly.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across teams and manage follow-ups effectively.
  • Passion for beauty, e-commerce, digital marketing, and marketplace growth.
  • Enthusiasm for helping brands succeed through digital commerce platforms.
