*Authorized to work in the US required; US Citizenship preferred*Remote Position TBD*Applicants residing in the DMV area preferred as the client is located in Silver Spring, MD*Three references requiredPOSITION DESCRIPTION:The Logistics Analyst II provides advanced logistics analysis and engineering support to the NOAA. Working under the direction of senior logistics and program leadership, this role supports the development, integration, and sustainment of NOAA marine, aviation, and associated mission systems by translating system logistics requirements into effective hardware, software, and support solutions.The Logistics Analyst II contributes to integrated logistics support (ILS) activities, maintains product and performance quality across the project life cycle, and supports compliance with applicable standards and program requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES:Translate system logistics requirements into hardware and software support solutions under senior direction.Perform logistics support analyses to define maintenance, supply, and sustainment requirements.Support integrated logistics support activities across design, integration, test and evaluation, and sustainment.Review logistics work products for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and requirements.Maintain product and performance quality throughout the project life cycle.Support logistics integration with engineering and program teams.REQUIREMENTS:Associates degree related to logistics analysis, engineering, or related discipline2+ years of progressively responsible experience in systems functional analysis, logistics support analysis, and engineering supportWorking knowledge of integrated logistics support principles.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively under supervision on complex logistics tasks. Think Tank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
