Job Overview

Complete Security LLC is seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team at a shelter facility in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, residents, and visitors by performing thorough bag checks, screening individuals with a security wand, and maintaining a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform bag checks on all individuals entering the facility.

Use a handheld security wand to screen visitors and residents for prohibited items.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to ensure a safe environment.

Respond to incidents and security-related concerns promptly and professionally.

Enforce facility rules, policies, and procedures.

Complete accurate daily reports and incident logs as required.

Assist residents, visitors, and staff when needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements

Prior security experience preferred

Ability to stand and perform screening duties for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.

Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work the scheduled hours.

Willing to undergo a background check and meet company hiring requirements.

Compensation: Up to $20 per hour depending on experience
