Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies for clients, ensuring tailored care that meets their unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, couples, and families, which may include techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans that address the various dimensions of each client's mental health.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay current with emerging trends and research in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele of Compassionate Home Clinic includes individuals and families who may struggle with mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our clinic is particularly focused on providing care to underserved populations, ensuring that those with limited access to mental health services receive the support they need. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting where you have worked with a diverse client base.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the scope of mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies for client documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including marginalized communities, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and patient caseload. In addition to competitive compensation, our benefits package includes:
