Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions tailored to meet the unique emotional, mental, and relational needs of each client.
  • Leverage diverse therapeutic modalities to sustain effective treatment plans and respond to the varied psychological profiles of patients.
  • Perform thorough psychological assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans while maintaining accurate and detailed progress notes in accordance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated treatment and comprehensive care, drawing on psychological insights to elevate patient outcomes.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality, fostering a safe therapeutic environment for clients to explore their issues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Compassionate Change Therapy Inc., you will primarily work with clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and family dynamics. Your role will be pivotal in facilitating healing and fostering resilience through compassionate and evidence-based approaches.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license is essential.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in clinical settings, demonstrating effective engagement with clients in mental health care.
  • Proficiency in maintaining professional ethics, including confidentiality and boundary-setting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to document patient interactions clearly and effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
  • Experience working in outpatient facilities or similar environments that prioritize patient-centered care.
Compensation and Benefits
