Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
  • Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, utilizing approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements to ensure high-quality client care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated support for clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and staying abreast of current mental health research and techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counseling services cater to a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with trauma, substance use issues, relationship challenges, and various mental health disorders. As a counselor, you will have the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life, each with their own unique stories and needs. Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services within a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal standards in the counseling profession.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, enabling the building of positive therapeutic relationships.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in trauma, family therapy, substance abuse counseling, or couples therapy.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to efficiently manage client documentation and treatment plans.
  • Evidence of working collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with caseload and experience.
