Lead Our Parts Hub for Compressed Air Systems

For 49 years, Comp-Air Ohio has served Northern Ohio as a trusted Gardner Denver distributor, supplying energy-saving compressors, dryers, and ancillary equipment—and backing them with exceptional service. We’re hiring an in-house leader to run our parts operations and keep the flow of critical components moving.

A day in the role

You start the morning reviewing overnight orders and confirming part availability. A shipment arrives, and you coordinate receiving, verify counts, and update stock levels. Midday, you consult with a customer on a part selection, enter the order, and generate an invoice. Later, you stage outgoing materials, line up flatbed deliveries, and jump in to support the service manager with parts research. Throughout it all, your inventory insights keep technicians productive and customers satisfied.

What you’ll own
  • Order processing from entry through completion
  • Shipping and receiving for parts and supplies
  • Inventory control and accuracy across SKUs
  • Customer interaction and support for parts inquiries
  • Invoicing and related documentation
  • Back-up assistance to the service manager as needed
Your toolkit
  • 3–5 years working with industrial compressors or closely related equipment
  • Strong computer proficiency for order, inventory, and invoicing systems
  • Ability to lift 50#
  • Ability to drive forklift and non-CDL flatbed trucks
