Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at the Community Wellness Center, you will embrace a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Providing therapy to couples and families through both group and individual sessions, focusing on their unique dynamics.
  • Specializing in various areas such as managing alcohol abuse, addressing grief and loss, mediating family conflicts, and guiding clients through transitions like divorce and separation.
  • Applying evidence-based methods and therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the diverse needs of your client base.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
  • Documenting and maintaining patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your expertise and stay current with therapeutic best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. Your focus may include:

  • Individuals experiencing stress related to job pressures and medical issues.
  • Couples navigating the challenges of blended families and remarriage.
  • Families struggling with communication difficulties and inter-personal conflicts.
  • Adolescents dealing with emotional challenges and adjustment disorders.
In this role, you will help clients foster resilience, develop healthier relationships, and cultivate coping strategies necessary for a balanced life. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • A current and valid state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and telehealth technology.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The Community Wellness Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
