North High Brewing serves craft beer made by the brewery that shares our name! We also serve a full menu of from scratch bites, cater private events and large parties, and host community events. Our first restaurant located in Historic Dublin, opened in 2020, while our Uptown Westerville location opened in the Fall of 2023.
Job Summary:
North High Brewing is looking for exceptional Servers to join our fast growing team! You’ll be serving creatively classic dishes, drinks, and craft beers in our restaurant alongside a crew of amazing people.
As a North High Brewing Host, you are expected to create exceptional experiences for our guests! As a host, you are the first person our guests encounter as they enter the restaurant! Therefore, you must be willing to bring an upbeat and friendly attitude as you seat them at their reserved or assigned table. The host must also book reservations over the phone and in-person using Open Table.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean host stand and front entrance.
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the building.
- Seat guests according to their reservation or availability of tables.
- Provide guests with appropriate menus, and articulate next steps.
- Answer the phone to take reservations, to-go orders and answer general questions.
- Follow other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related duties requested by their supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as weekend and extended workdays are necessary.
- Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs.
- Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask efficiently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl or bend, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists. (Indoor & Outdoor)
- Must be able to carry up to 30lbs.
- Equipment, Machines and Software Used: This position requires the regular use of a tablet for the point of sale system (Toast) and reservation software (Open Table).
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers in a professional manner.
- Excellent organization and coordination skills.
- Previous host or serving experience preferred.
- Interest in learning about craft beer and food!
Benefits/Perks:
- Medical, dental and vision insurance for all Full Time Equivalent (FTE) employees upon meeting a 6 month look back period.
- Free meal with every 6 hours worked.
- 50% discount on food with less than 6 hours worked (day of shift).
- 10% discount on food with friends and family.
