You will be a crucial partner in our patients' recovery, helping them regain their strength and quality of life through targeted therapy sessions.

About the Organization

Aspire Community Rehab and Counseling Center specializes in comprehensive rehabilitation services, providing state-of-the-art care in a supportive environment. Our facility spans over 5,000 square feet, equipped with advanced sports medicine technology and resources to cater primarily to patients with private medical insurance. With a patient-centered approach, we emphasize individualized treatment plans that adapt to the unique needs of each person who visits our center.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Augusta, our rehabilitation center fosters a collaborative and empowering atmosphere. You will work alongside a small but cohesive team that includes two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, allowing for work-life balance while providing continuous support to our patients. As a primarily outpatient orthopedic clinic, our environment prioritizes effective therapy delivery in an encouraging and motivating setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and analyze patient conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that facilitate optimal recovery and mobility.
  • Deliver focused one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a patient load of one session per hour to ensure personalized attention and care.
  • Utilize a variety of treatment techniques related to orthopedic rehabilitation, ensuring cost-effective methods are employed to enhance movement and reduce pain.
  • Educate patients on alternative solutions to prevent the need for medication and surgical interventions, enhancing their understanding of rehabilitation processes.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as needed based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
  • Incorporate evidence-based practices into all care provided, ensuring that interventions are proven and share measurable outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, motivating them through their rehabilitation journey and promoting a healthy lifestyle through tailored wellness and fitness programs.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care, sharing insights and strategies to support holistic recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and concise electronic medical records using EMR systems like WebPT, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Aspire Community Rehab and Counseling Center, our primary focus is on orthopedic patients looking to recover from surgeries, injuries, and musculoskeletal issues. We are committed to delivering exceptional care that ranges from post-operative rehabilitation to injury prevention. Our clientele includes a diverse range of individuals, from athletes to seniors, each requiring personalized therapeutic interventions to regain their mobility and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia.
  • Clear professional history with no disciplinary actions against your license.
  • Demonstrated manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing individualized exercise regimens.
  • Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record platforms, particularly WebPT, to maintain thorough patient documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, ideally with a specialization in manual therapy techniques.
  • Strong background in tailoring rehabilitation programs that focus on enhanced functional outcomes.
  • Experience with a diverse patient population and an understanding of their unique rehabilitative needs.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for the Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education and professional growth.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Aspire Community Rehab and Counseling Center, we are committed to fostering the professional development of our staff. As part of our team, you will have access to training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities that will enhance your clinical skills and expand your career trajectories, paving the way for future leadership positions within the organization.

We strive to create a positive workplace culture that supports staff morale and encourages new ideas. By working with us, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of our patients through quality rehabilitation services and personalized care.
