The Role:
The Functional Support Specialist serves as a dynamic ally for youth grappling with severe and persistent mental illness, offering rehabilitative and clinical services across engaging settings such as community venues, homes, and office environments. They deliver a diverse array of therapeutic interventions including Functional Support Services (FSS), Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), and crisis stabilization, all while upholding stringent departmental, agency, and state standards. Collaborating closely with clients, families, and community providers, the Specialist demonstrates a professional and empathetic demeanor, ensuring ethical conduct at every turn. Methodically documenting their interventions in accordance with established protocols, they maintain a high level of proficiency. Dedicated to continuous growth, they actively participate in supervision sessions, stay abreast of insurance policies and agency fees, and engage in ongoing training and development opportunities. In their role, each day presents an opportunity for meaningful contributions and professional fulfillment.

What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's Degree required in human services or related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Education
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job
• Hold a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle liability coverage.
