Community First National Bank is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development and Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in fostering relationships within our community and driving growth for the bank. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community engagement, a knack for building relationships, and a solid background in business development and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations.
- Help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Participate in audits and regulatory exams.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Provide backup/support for other accounting functions as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3+ years of accounting experience; banking or financial institution experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment.
