Description

The Community First Champion Center is a premier indoor sports complex located in Grand Chute, Wisconsin. The Champion Center hosts a wide variety of youth and amateur sporting events throughout the year, with a primary focus on basketball, volleyball, hockey, figure skating, and wrestling. In addition to hosting approximately 60-75 youth sporting events annually, the facility also hosts showcases, leagues, camps and clinics, and team practices.


We are seeking energetic, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Events Team on a part-time basis. Events Team Members play an important role in creating a positive experience for athletes, coaches, and spectators during tournaments and events.


Primary Responsibilities


Events Team Members assist with the daily operation of events, including:

  • Operating the concession stand 
  • Running ticket and admission registers 
  • Checking wristbands and monitoring admissions areas 
  • Cleaning and maintaining the facility throughout events 
  • Assisting guests and providing excellent customer service 
  • Supporting event operations as needed 
Schedule & Availability


This position is heavily weekend-based, especially during the school year.


School Year Schedule (September-May)
  • Primarily weekend shifts (required) 
  • Occasional weekday evening shifts after school 
  • Flexible part-time scheduling based on event calendar 
Summer Schedule (June-July)
  • Weekend availability remains required 
  • Additional weekday hours become available during summer events 
Qualifications
  • Must be available to work weekends regularly 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills 
  • Dependable and punctual 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Comfortable standing and moving throughout shifts

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be over 16 years of age 
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic 
  • Flexible work schedule (weekends, nights, holidays and long hours)
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Previous customer service, concessions, or cash handling experience is helpful but not required

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • May be required to sit, stand, squat, bend and stoop for extended periods of time
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • Must be able to work in noisy conditions
