Community Commissary

This position will be the Kitchen Coordinator for the commissary and do admin work, vendor oversight, and facility upkeep. Here are some of the duties:

• Excellent customer service for potential vendors/members interaction
• Setting up and conducting orientation tours
• Logging Vendor Spot Requests and ensuring follow up
• Enforcing “Commissary Guidelines” to vendors with oversight and accountability
• Visual oversight of premises and logging violations via pictures for Owner
• Utilizing FOOD CORRIDOR program to manage vendor accounts, payments, & docs
• Checking and stocking supplies (rags, trash bags, paper products, cleaning liquids)
• Monitoring cleanliness throughout the facility and light cleaning as necessary
• Maintaining and picking up supplies as needed
• Coordination with utility and maintenance repairmen when needed
• Administrative duties for commissary operations
• Filing and upkeep of commissary records, utility bills, maintenance, and expenses
• Trash and cardboard removal at regular time periods
• Other miscellaneous tasks as required by the Owner

We are a shared kitchen with multiple vendors including food trucks, caterers, and bakers. This position handles admin and vendor oversight and facility upkeep. We are flexible with hours and a great place to work.
