Bilingual Behavioral Health Navigator (English/Spanish)
Location: Chelsea, MA | Full-Time, Mondayโ€“Friday - 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $23.08 | Grant-Funded (3 Years)

Community Action Programs Inter-City, Inc. (CAPIC) is seeking a caring and motivated Bilingual Behavioral Health Navigator to join our SUDS/Mobile Outreach team. The Navigator will help individuals access behavioral health and substance use services, connect them to community resources, and support them through recovery.

This position reports to the SUDS/Mobile Outreach Program Director, and will be a key member of the SUDS/Mobile Outreach team. Working closely with the Program Director, Recovery Coach, Caseworker, and Navigator to support and document client progress, while also striving to reduce the stigma surrounding substance use recovery. This position will bridge language and cultural gaps to help individuals access and navigate complex behavioral healthcare and social services.

This role requires strong communication skills in both languages, cultural competency, and knowledge of healthcare and social service systems to improve patient engagement and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

ยท Assist clients in navigating healthcare, recovery, and social service systems

ยท Coordinate care, appointments, and referrals

ยท Connect clients with housing, food, and transportation resources

ยท Maintain accurate client documentation and confidentiality

Qualifications:

ยท Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required

ยท Experience with substance use, behavioral health, or social services

ยท Valid MA driverโ€™s license
