Job Description

Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' care needs - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician - Perform physical examinations and health assessments - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans - Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques - Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients

Skills: - Proficient in using Cerner or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems - Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals or emergency departments - Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices - Experience working with children or pediatric patients - Ability to perform dialysis procedures, if required - Competency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting results - Familiarity with workers compensation laws and regulations - Proficient in medication administration techniques and dosage calculations - Ability to catheterize patients, if necessary - Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation and billing purposes
