FOH Guest Service at Common Bond Cafe
Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our highly skilled and motivated team at Common Bond Cafe, where we believe that every guest experience is important and that each one of our jobs is a piece of providing our guests with a positive experience.
Common Bond Cafe is a renowned food and beverage brand that bridges together people of all ages, cultures, and beliefs through the love of good food. With 11 locations across Houston, we are a community-driven establishment where guests gather to dine and bond over delicious food, extraordinary pastries, and custom cakes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a smile and engage with them to understand their needs
- Maintain complete knowledge of our baked goods and menu
- Take orders from guests and pack retail items and bread orders efficiently
- Run food and drinks to customers in a timely fashion
- Notify a supervisor if a customer has a complaint
- Restock station and rotate stock using the FIFO method
- Assist with bussing tables, sweeping floors, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Assist in putting away deliveries and maintaining the parking lot and patio
- Ensure doors and windows are clean and free of handprints
- Maintain clean restrooms and check them regularly
- Prepare and package food and beverages to our high-quality standard recipes
- Perform various tasks within the store during each shift
