Perm - Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Trauma in Loveland, CO

Join a leading trauma and acute care surgical team offering a steady overnight schedule, competitive salary, and excellent benefits. Location: 2500 Rocky Mountain Avenue, Loveland, CO

Start Date: 04/28/2026

Duration: Permanent

Shift: Nocturnist, overnight shifts

Hours/week: Varies

Employment Type: Full-time

Licenses/Certifications: Colorado PA license required

Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma/surgical experience or fellowship preferred

Pay & Benefits

Pay Rate: $136,822 – $179,379 annually

Additional Compensation: Up to $10,000/year through QVIP

Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive trauma and surgical care during overnight shifts
  • Manage trauma admissions and emergency general surgeries
  • Perform patient evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostics
  • Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document care thoroughly in Epic EMR
  • Support quality, safety, and performance goals for trauma services

What You Need

Required:

  • Colorado PA license or eligibility for licensure
  • At least 2 years of trauma/surgical experience or surgical fellowship completion
  • Strong clinical decision-making and teamwork skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in high-acuity surgical settings
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts
