Farmers Insurance The Mountains & Western Colorado is seeking ambitious, driven, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Protégé Insurance Sales Representatives. This role is designed for aspiring insurance professionals who want to develop the skills, experience, and business knowledge needed to build a successful career in insurance sales and agency ownership.

As a Protégé, you'll work alongside experienced insurance professionals while receiving hands-on training, mentorship, and support. You'll learn how to build client relationships, identify insurance needs, recommend coverage solutions, and grow a book of business. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy helping others, achieving sales goals, and creating long-term career opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, network, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct insurance reviews and identify coverage needs.
  • Educate clients on insurance products and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare quotes and assist clients throughout the sales process.
  • Follow up on leads and maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support policyholders.
  • Participate in training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Learn agency operations, sales strategies, and business development techniques.
  • Work toward individual and team sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to build trust and develop client relationships.
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Sales, customer service, or business development experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to obtain or currently hold a Property & Casualty Insurance License (licensing assistance may be available).
  • Desire to learn, grow, and pursue a long-term career in the insurance industry.
