Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate each patient's mental health landscape, including strengths, challenges, and needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to individual patient requirements.
  • Engage in collaborative care by coordinating with psychiatrists, nurses, and other health professionals to address all aspects of patient welfare.
  • Educate patients and their families on mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and pharmaceutical interventions to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Administer both individual and group therapy sessions while adapting treatment methodologies based on patient progress and feedback.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans in partnership with the healthcare team, ensuring that they align with patient-specific goals and preferences.
  • Assist patients in navigating the complex mental health care system, providing advocacy, resources, and guidance as needed.
  • Facilitate therapeutic support groups, psychoeducation workshops, and discharge planning meetings to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
