As our Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist you will act as the first point of contact for potential candidates and showcase everything Collectivfide has to offer! In this role, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process and deliver a seamless and positive onboarding experience for all candidates. Partnering closely with our hiring managers and the HR team to identify current and future staffing needs, sourcing high-quality candidates, and managing the interview process. As well as providing to the HR team on various tasks and projects where required.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for full cycle recruitment for broker partners, from creating job descriptions and postings, to attracting, posting, screening, and interviewing
• Utilize creative sourcing methods to attract a broad scope of talent
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for future hiring needs
• Work closely with the hiring managers to schedule and conduct interviews
• Partner with HR and Hiring Managers to draft, extend, and negotiate competitive offers of employment
• Manage the onboarding process for new team members, inclusive of new hire paperwork, compliance training, and 90-day plans
• Coordinate and deliver first day orientation session that outlines company culture, the mission, and core policies
• Collaborate with third party recruiters where necessary, and partner with insurance industry networks and peer groups
• Represent the company at any job fairs, industry, or networking events
• Maintain recruitment metrics and records to ensure compliance and tracking
• Maintain accurate employee records in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS, process paperwork, and assist with HR-related administrative tasks
• Conduct post-hire follow-ups to assess employee satisfaction or identify any issues
• Coordinate pre-probationary evaluations with HR and the hiring managers, ensuring that feedback is shared and employees are properly supported during those critical first few months in the role
• Support the HR team with additional tasks as required
• Serve as an ambassador for Collectivfide and our broker partners

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in human resources or related field
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in handling full-cycle recruitment and employee onboarding
• Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms required, experience with Bamboo HR is an asset
• Experience recruiting in the insurance industry is a strong asset
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while managing a fluctuating pipeline of active job postings

Candidates with extensive, directly relevant experience will typically be hired at or near the midpoint of the salary range. The upper end of the range is generally reserved for team members who consistently demonstrate exceptional performance, make a meaningful impact, and continue to grow within their role. Those who are earlier in their career or building experience may join below the midpoint, with opportunities to progress over time.
