Job Summary:
Cold Start Ventures is looking for a Founder in Residence to launch and lead a venture-backed startup. The role involves incubating a pre-validated thesis, assembling a founding team, and owning the strategy and growth of the company.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with Cold Start to incubate one of our pre-validated theses
• Assemble and lead a founding team
• Own strategy, execution, fundraising, and growth
• Build a category-defining company with long-term impact
Qualifications:
Required:
• Former founders only – we look EXCLUSIVELY for those who have started companies before
• Structured training – rigorous environments such as consulting, banking, leading growth stage companies, big tech, investing, product management, or sales at leading firms
• Elite education – those with strong analytical and leadership skills
• Both commercial CEOs and technical CTOs
• Bias toward action – hungry, scrappy, and a track record of getting things done
