Colada Shop Clarendon

Café Associate sells and creates Colada Shop beverages following Colada Shop standards providing caring hospitality and exceptional customer service through product knowledge.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate current and working knowledge of beverages, coffee/ espresso bar, retail and food stations
• Follows company standards and maintains work area and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards
• Follows Colada Shop Service Steps and Selling skills providing an exceptional customer experience
• Educate, sample, and serve customers craveable food and beverage products
• Follows station specific duties and responsibilities
• Opens and/or closes area following appropriate checklist, verifies completion with Manager on Duty prior to leaving the area
• Maintains PAR stock levels and standards in product presentations
• Produce and present freshly prepared products following Colada Shop recipes while meeting speed of service standards
• Follows Colada Shop merchandising and signing standards
• Maintain personal hygiene and professional dress code to comply with company, Colada Shop, and Health Department standards
• Perform other duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Previous restaurant/hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• No specific educational accomplishment is necessary.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, reports, manuals, and recipes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and the general public.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Able to use a calculator.
• Must be able to use mathematics when measuring quantities.
• Must be able to follow instructions and recipes.
• Full availability; must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Work authorization: United States (Required)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Extended periods of standing are required. Some kneeling, stooping, crouching, or crawling may be required.
• Must be able to move and/or lift at least 30 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to work in close quarters.
