Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work effectively from your own space while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will be supported by our state-of-the-art telehealth technology, enabling you to provide high-quality care to your clients without the constraints of a traditional office setting. Our outpatient facility model allows flexibility in scheduling and client interactions, making it easier to manage your workflow effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address various mental health issues.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating their goals and preferences into the therapeutic process.
• Provide education and support to clients on managing chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and other prevalent mental health challenges.
• Facilitate telehealth group therapy sessions and workshops focused on wellness, resilience, and coping strategies.
• Document client progress meticulously in our electronic health record system, ensuring comprehensive treatment records that comply with ethical and legal standards.
• Actively engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, sharing insights and strategies for improved care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Cobalt Counseling Group, you will primarily serve a diverse client base that includes individuals struggling with various mental health conditions, especially those dealing with chronic pain and related emotional difficulties. Your empathetic and culturally competent approach will be crucial in fostering trust and rapport with clients from different backgrounds, ensuring that they feel understood and supported throughout their counseling journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• An active, unrestricted license (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC) to practice in the State of Washington.
• Demonstrated commitment to anti-racist practices and social justice-oriented work.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is 3 years of post-graduate experience in a mental health counseling setting, candidates with 4 or more years of experience, particularly in outpatient care and with expertise in pain management, are highly encouraged to apply. Previous experience in telehealth practices would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
