As Director, Actuarial Rate Filings you will be responsible for ensuring all rate filings are complete, accurate, and timely. You will be a key part of the product development process developing and filing rates for new products while ensuring rates for all existing products remain adequate.**Responsibilities*** Institute and manage actuarial rate filing process ensuring rates remain current and adequate.* Review bureau circulars and make recommendations for adoption or deferral.* Lead team in preparing Property and Casualty rate filings for bureau and proprietary products.* Work with State Filings team to submit filings and respond to questions.* Work with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product Development, and Legal to ensure all filing needs are met.* Maintain filing documentation and support.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree.* 15+ years of experience preparing and submitting property and casualty insurance rate filing for bureau and proprietary products* 5+ years of managerial experience* Actuarial experience a plus but not required* Strong attention to detail* Excellent organizational and time management skills* Effective oral and written communication skills* Able to manage multiple projects and bring them to conclusionSalary range specific to for this role : $128,000-$175,000 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, and qualifications. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.\*\*This is not a remote position.
