Job Description
  • The Regional Rehab Director (RRD) is responsible for providing resources, training and support to facility rehabilitation departments in order to maximize patient outcomes, improve facility reputation, promote professional visibility and ensure regulatory compliance. Candidate must understand reimbursement systems that drive the long term care industry.
  • Essential duties and responsibilities include fiscal management, clinical management and human resource management.
  • We are looking for a candidate with excellent clinical and communication skills that can combine an energetic management style to create an impressive approach to therapy services. We are looking for an ethical, honest and loyal employee who will go above and beyond when asked. We are also looking for someone who is meticulous to detail but can multitask various responsibilities.
  • The applicant must have management experience and knowledge of the responsibilities of managing and delivering therapy services. Many of the patients you will serve have complex medical conditions and have recently arrived in the post-acute SNF setting from an acute care hospital. All candidates must be graduates from an accredited school in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology and hold a valid Louisiana license.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved curriculum in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensed and in good standing with appropriate licensing board in the state of Louisiana.
  • Certified or registered by the appropriate national professional association.
  • In good standing with state and national regulatory agencies.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical practice as therapist (preferred).
  • Able to work independently.
  • Exude professionalism in presentation.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate in the English language.
  • Able to make sound independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Patient care advocate.
  • Possess advances written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
