Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address a broad range of mental health issues, tailoring approaches to meet the specific needs of clients.
• Administer comprehensive psychosocial assessments, ensuring the development of personalized treatment plans that align with client goals and care pathways.
• Effectively implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans as necessary to mitigate immediate patient risks.
• Ensure thorough documentation of clinical interactions and treatment progress, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for clients, advocating for their needs throughout treatment.
• Engage in case review meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development and staff education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on clients at various stages of detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. These individuals often face unique psychosocial challenges, including stigma, trauma, and complex emotional responses. You'll be instrumental in helping them navigate these issues by providing substantive support and connecting them with community resources that facilitate long-term recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) is required, with a preference for candidates holding an active LCSW license.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in clinical social work, with a focus on mental health or substance use treatment preferred.
• A solid understanding of clinical terminology and social work practices is essential for effective communication and documentation.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in clinical charting and documentation processes.
• Exceptional time management skills, enabling you to balance case documentation and client interactions effectively.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and telehealth platforms is vital, along with experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fostering strong therapeutic alliances and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a detox or addiction treatment center is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with community resources and networks that support individuals dealing with addiction and mental health issues.
• Any specialization or certification in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or advanced therapeutic techniques will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience. In addition to salary, full-time employees are eligible for opportunities such as:
