Administrative, Dietitian - Project Supervisor / Hospital

Position: Permanent full time

Location: Norman, Oklahoma

Shift: Days, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Mon - Fri), no weekend reqmt

Salary #####9,483 - 80,828/annually (based on education and experience) with benefits

Job Responsibilities:
  • The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor is a valued leader in the Food and Nutrition Department
  • Leads the clinical nutrition team in providing evidence based nutrition care
  • Responsible for clinical nutrition team and diet office/call center
  • Collaborates with the medical team
  • Leads clinical nutrition performance improvement projects
  • Provides nutrition education and training to healers in the department and the health system
  • Preceptor for Dietetic Interns
  • Super User for nutrition software
Requirements:
  • Completion of a BS degree program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that leads to registration as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Basic knowledge of subspecialty areas (nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, oncology, etc.)
  • Registration with the CDR and an Oklahoma State Dietitian license.
  • Must obtain a food handlers permit from the Cleveland County Health dept. before hire (or within 1 week of hire).
  • Two years of clinical experience in an acute care facility.
  • Previous experience working in a clinical diet office or previous supervisory experience at a clinical diet office.
